Bishop Dr. Quan L. Miller is a native of Deerfield Beach, Florida.  He is the youngest son of the late Deacon Reuben and Emily Miller.  He was educated in the Broward County School System where he graduated with distinction from Pompano Beach High School where he served as Senior Class Vice-President.  He continued his academic studies at Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee.  He received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education and in Biblical and Christian Education.  He continued his studies at Luther Rice Seminary in Jacksonville, Florida and received a Doctorate from the European Theological Seminary in the United Kingdom.

This highly esteemed and well recognized Bishop has served in the Church of God for over thirty years in various capacities and on numerous levels.  He has received innumerable honors and commendations, both civic and ministerial.   His most recent distinctions include being the first man to serve twelve (12) years as State Overseer in the Florida-Cocoa Office, and his appointment on the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennessee) Council of Eighteen.  His keen knowledge and spirited methods of delivering the Word of God have afforded Bishop Miller the opportunity to speak at many conventions and seminars, not only in the United States, but in Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Asia, North Africa, East Africa and South Africa.

Bishop Miller is married to Patricia Ann Williams-Miller of St. Mary's, Georgia in August 1972.  To this union three children and two grandchildren were born.  Children:  Mrs. Quantrelle Lanese Miller-Keaton(deceased), Pelden A. Miller, Aisha L. Miller.  Grandchildren:  Ajonee' AnQuanette Miller, Ke'Sean Ahashawara Miller and Pelasia Miller.

Bishop Miller is a man dedicated to his family, his people, and his work.  In all that he has accomplished, he attributes it to the following scripture:
Lamentations 3:20-23 (KJV):  My soul hath them still in remembrance, and is humbled in me.  This I recall to mind; therefore I have hope.  It is because of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.  They are new every morning; great is thy faithfulness.
